DUA: On Convolute F119
DUA were the artist Patrizia Bach and the writer Regina Dürig. They saw themselves as an artistic friendship, engaging in an ongoing creative dialogue between text and drawing.
Between 2019 and 2024 collaborated on a wide range of projects and publications.
The work On Convolute F119 emerged from the TOMIKO Archive — an art project by Patrizia Bach in the form of a photographic archive. It consists exclusively of found family and amateur photographs, primarily from the 20th century and mostly from the German-speaking region. Convolute F119 contains 151 photographs, to which Dürig and Bach responded through a dialogue of short prose and drawings.
The result is a series of 604 sheets, excerpts of which will be shown at the Pavillon am Milchhof. As part of the opening, Patrizia Bach will present the TOMIKO Archive, and Regina Dürig will read a collage of texts that were written in response to On Convolute F119.
